Have Your Cake & Eat It Too

It wasn’t a birthday or a holiday or even a wedding. It was just a regular Monday in March (the 20th to be exact) but thanks to a generous donation from the Belgrade Food Bank it felt like all three at once. To KEC’s delight the BFB donated several delicious cakes for our beneficiaries to enjoy. For many years KEC has been collaborating closely with this outstanding NGO. Donations from the BFB enrich the day center and ensure that there is always something nourishing and tasty on hand. These donations help us make sure that our beneficiaries who come from families where food is sometimes sparse go home having eaten something healthy.

The BFB and their partners’ generosity is why when you walk into the KEC center there is usually the aroma of something good cooking.
